The inaugural Tomatin Distillery Scottish Nine Hole Open was held at Carrbridge Golf Club on 5th July 2011. From a field of 49 competitors this new event was won by Laurie Chancellor of Inverness with a score of 35 and a better last 6 from Kevin Barnett. Gordon Hay was in third place on 36 from Martin Hendry also on 36.
The handicap section was won by Martin Hendry of Boat of Garten (6) 30 from Arthur Norton (8.5) 30.5 and Tom Loynes (7) on 33.
Winners received £50 SGU vouchers plus a round for 2 at Castle Stuart for Scratch and champagne for Handicap.
We are delighted to announce that Tomatin Distillery are the main sponsors of the 2012 event and the competition will be held on Tuesday 10 July with a GREATLY INCREASED PRIZE FUND.

This competition can only go from strength to strength with bigger prizes and over the coming years Carrbridge Golf Club will build on last year's experience to make it an even more enjoyable experience for visitors to the area.
The Scottish Open will again be held at Castle Stuart from 12 - 15 July 2012 and Carrbridge Golf Club will host the next "Tomatin Distillery Scottish Nine Hole Open" on Tuesday 10 July to coincide with this event.
